    ‘At Seventy’

    One thing that stands out in reading ‘At Seventy’ is how the tense of the verbs that are used repeatedly go back and forth between the past and present, with no consideration given to things yet to happen. Although the ‘jet trails’ are beginning to fade, let’s hope they remain visible for as long as they are needed.
